15 kilometres of "Flow" with an average gradient of 8 per cent lie between the start high up on the ridge and the finish in the valley. These facts make the Bad Kleinkirchheim Flow Country Trail the longest of its kind in Europe. In between are green alpine meadows, numerous rollers, small jumps and directional steep bends that provide that flow feeling. There are plenty of alternative routes and exit points along the trail, making the Flow Country Trail safe to use for beginners and younger bikers.
Need a little more action? The 6 km long Kornock Flowrail really has it all! Rolling and jumping waves, fun berms, bridges and footbridges make for an entertaining ride from the summit back to the valley station at Turracher See. In between, there is always a short uphill section. Here there is time to enjoy the mountain panorama before the carousel of bends and the rollercoaster provide plenty of wind on the natural trail.
If you do a few laps in one of the bike parks before your first descent on one of the spectacular flow trails, you will gain more than just safety. The Bikepark Seeboden directly on Lake Millstätter See or the 1000 square metre practice course with pump track at the Kaiserburgbahn valley station offer the opportunity to do just that. Technique can also be honed on the practice course in Feld am See and the Kornock kids and practice area on the Turrach is the perfect place for the little ones to start their big bike adventure on balance bikes and mini bikes.
Not only, but especially on hot summer days, the bike tour with the children through the Tiebelgaben near Feldkirchen (Nock Bike G.12) is a sporty day out for the whole family. Shady forests and numerous rest areas directly on the banks of the Tiebel ensure a pleasant cycling climate. Inns and refreshment stops in Himmelberg, Griffen or Feldkirchen serve refreshments on the 20-kilometre-long, easy cycle tour through Carinthia.
