Lake Maltschacher See is only about three kilometres by bike south-east of Feldkirchen in Carinthia and some guests come to Lake Maltschacher See on horseback. Admission to the public lido at Lake Maltschacher See is free of charge, and yet there is everything and perhaps a little more here that is needed for a relaxing day of swimming.

While some head to the opposite shore and are accompanied by a SUP or pedalo, others snorkel in the water, which is up to 25 °C warm. On the shore, guests can take a seat in the Spiess restaurant, and those who want to be woken up by the water birds on the lake can spend the night in the front row of the campsite. The morning is also a good time to cast out your fishing rod. If you have a fishing licence, you can catch a carp from Lake Maltschacher See.
