Bad Kleinkirchheim: Ski vacation between Kaiserburg and Brunnachhöhe

Carinthia's second largest ski area is one of the most famous in Austria. With 103 km of pistes - 11 km of which are blue, 84 km red and 8 km black - Bad Kleinkirchheim offers the right route for every skiing level. One of the most famous runs is the "Carinthia - Franz Klammer" World Cup run. Other exciting challenges await under the Kaiserburg and on the Strohsack, where long, wide slopes invite you to carve. If you take the Brunnach biosphere park cable car up to the top, you will not only enjoy an impressive panorama, but also ideal conditions for carving turns. There are steep, challenging slopes for ambitious skiers, and the "Radentheiner Streif" is one of them for many.

World Cup Bad Kleinkirchheim & After Ski

Bad Kleinkirchheim has been one of the leading World Cup venues in Austria for decades: in addition to Audi FIS World Cup races, European and FIS competitions have been held regularly. The "Kärnten - Franz Klammer" World Cup downhill run is considered a highlight - approx. 3.2 km long, with a gradient of around 842 metres.

Ski emperor Franz Klammer made his mark here early on: he won his first European Cup downhill race in Bad Kleinkirchheim in 1971 - the basis for an iconic career.

Today, the racing tradition lives on in events and formats - sporting challenges on the piste and relaxed moments afterwards at NOCK BEATS.
