Where Heidi and Peter are on skis and a skiing holiday with the children could fill a storybook

Heidi lives high up on a sprawling mountain pasture in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Carinthian Nockberge. In the winter months, a thick blanket of snow reliably covers the gentle hilltops and enchants the area into a winter wonderland that is almost only found in fairytale books.

Learn to ski with Heidi

There are places where parents can relax in cosy deckchairs and kids can have great fun in the great outdoors. Heidi's SchneeALM is such a place. A covered magic carpet and a rope lift take the young skiers to the top. Schnucki, Josef and Alm-Öhi show the little ones the way back to the "valley". The first steps on skis are particularly easy.

The older children meet up for a race on the race piste or try out the rails, kickers and boxes to their heart's content.

Floodlights, starry skies & après-ski

The floodlit evenings at the Heidi Alm Skipark Falkert are a firm favourite during the ski winter. You can carve down the piste even after sunset and chat to the ski instructors at the snow bar about how to stop off.

From the piste to the mountain

On the Falkert, many guests are out and about on two skis away from the pistes. The 1st Carinthian ski touring nature trail offers a very safe opportunity to do so. Newcomers also learn the basic rules of ski touring here.

Why not give cross-country skiing a try? From the high-altitude cross-country ski trail, winter guests gain completely new views of the Heidi Alm.

There are many opportunities to do so in the Heidi Alm Skipark Falkert ski area. These include the Falkert Seestüberl, the Seehütte, the Zirbenhütte and the Bogi-Alm.
